Susan, I just love it!

I want to thank you once again for your generosity.

I am going to Starbucks tonight with friends, so it will be put to work in a few hours!

I just put the milk in my coffee mug, microwave that, then pour the coffee into that mug. Repeat as needed. However, if you specifically want a 4 oz. creamer/pitcher, here's a MW-safe one. There's also the classic Apilco cow-shaped creamer. I also think this milk bottle creamer is cute, but it's larger than you want.

Thanks squirrel. That is more of less how I had the sofa before. I agree it does not need to be centered. The rule of thumb I've always followed is to either center or put off center to make it look intentional. I'll try playing with the chairs and drum tables. In that pic they are both on the sofa side, though I've been playing around with a few different arrangements. I'm going to leave in about 1 hour for the painting--hope it looks as good IRL as your photoshopped version. Need to know, though, about the console/demilune table as that lady is having a garage sale (and it's kindof on the way), yey or nay..... Not sure if you saw my other thread about art placement and botancial prints I started yesterday. I could really use some help there--about how to display and group the prints since it looks like I'm going to have to go to some expense to frame, I want to do it right.

K-cup coffee makers anyone?

I'm on my second Tassimo and I think it's starting to act a little 'tired'. Seems like they last about 2 years on average around here and I don't use it every day. Tassimo used to be the only one that had real milk discs which is why I purchased that brand. I don't know if that is still true. The milk comes in a variety for cappacino, latte, low-fat, etc. It's nice not having to separately froth your milk for a latte, the machine does it for you. The discs are not as easily to find as the k-cups. Target stocks some, but the biggest variety and supply as Bed Bath & Beyond (over-priced though) or on line. I think the espresso for the cappacinos and lattes is very good. Kids love the hot chocolate and the chai latte. Its also great for heating water for tea (tea discs are available too). When this one dies (which seems to be soon)I will have to re-evaulate the k-cup though.

Anyone have Cuisinart Coffee on Demand 12 Cup Coffee Maker?

We have had one for almost two years. It is OK, but the tradeoff for a glass carafe is a bulky square of plastic. It takes up a lot of room in the dishwasher. My husband insists on using the gold tone filter, which just means another thing to clean - I prefer the ease of throwing out a paper filter. We have noticed that the coffee is drinkable right as you pour a cup. That seems like a good thing, but it means that the holding temp is kind of low. Hence this Christmas present to the husband: Here is a link that might be useful: Coffee Cup Warmer

I will post photos of mine Flamey, from a distance. LOL
Mine will not look near as professional as yours do. I looked at some on Etsy and none of them picked neat fabrics like yours.

Yeah, I really like what they call "novelty fabrics", MaryAnn. It takes longer to make things out of it because you have to fussy cut everything, and it's kind of wasteful when you want a certain part of the design to show, but I really like the effect.

And I'm sure that yours will be lovely. You have a Bernina, right? Those are the best machines for top-stitching, I've found. These ones I mailed out, I used the White and I had a lot of trouble top-stitching at the bulky corners and not getting a wad or a skipped stitch, so the next ones I did, I used the Bernina and it made all the difference. I also got a 1/4" foot for the machine and it's wonderful to use.

Well....those are soo cute! I just found the link to the pattern too. I'll have to amke myself one. DH loves to walk over to the Starbucks a few nights a week, this would be perfect for the walk back....I have to keep shifting my cup from hand to hand until it cools off! Thanks for the link and the pattern!
