For me it has been just one...I enjoyed it immensely.

I have had the pleasure of meeting several KTers though. Ginger (Bradley's Mom) was my first, then I met Flamingo (we've met up with her and Woody 3 times I think!) and Charlee and Glen (twice).

I've been to 2 get-togethers at Sandy's in Iowa, Dances in Canada, one in Honeybrook,Pa at Linda's, Buzzard's in TX...and met several others informally.

Jammer and I went to Sandy's First Iowa Get-together. We had so much fun. I also went to Buzzard's Texas get-together and had a blast there too. I planned to put those pics on the website too, but never got around to it.

I also met with Nita, Jerri, Gabby and Nectarine when their Texas Tour came through San Antonio. KTer's Do San Antonio

I have never been to a KT get together, but I have been to a few of the Rose Forum ones. Would love to meet some of our fellow KT folks someday!

I have been to many get togethers all over the country. Have lost count of how many I have met but it is well over 200 I am sure. Have also had several KTer's come to our town and a few have spent a couple nights with us.

Here is a picture of the FL Get Together I had at my Dad's house last February. We had lots of fun and laughed our heads off. Happily I am going to see April and Marion on Feb. 14.

I was at a PA gathering a long time ago (before Nick was born so probably 6-7 years ago) but from this picture I think the only KT members there who are still around besides me are Linda and Monica.

Linda is sitting and standing are (another)Paula (not me),Karen(ArtsyCraftsy?),Cathy from DE (I think that was her name), me, Elaine from NJ(? again, not sure) and Monica.

I remember Artsy Craftsy! Wonder what happened to her?

Paula...that gathering was in June,2002. I remember it well because it was only a week or two after my DH died.

Never been to a get together but have met a few Kters, Toni-KY (who doesn't post here anymore), Glenda and Tami-OH. Hope to be able to go to the next big one.

Boy, those pics bring back memories. I went to both at Sandy's, both at HayJud's, and Buzzie's. Once Flamingo met up with DH and me at Branson, and once on the way back from TX, DH and I stopped and saw Dottie. Didn't know it would be our last chance to meet her, so I'm so glad we did.

First KT'er I ever met was Nita, and in the same week, Donna OH and her sis drove down and spent couple nights with me.

maryanntx - thanks so much for that awesome photo journey of your trip to Nitas. I am sitting here in freezing MA. snow is falling, and just looking at those wonderful photos was such an escape....It actually took my mind of this mess for a bit.

Thanks gemini40. I think I was the hottest I've ever been on the trip over there. I told Jammer that I better not have anyone tell me "But it's a dry heat." It was HOT!!! After we left Nita's house we headed North and before the day was over I was putting on my leather jacket. LOL

Nita took us to some awesome places on our bikes!

The first KTer I met was Martha from Tyler (who now posts at the Coffee Shop & lives in Whitehouse.) Then I went to Waco to Jaybird's & met Nita, Jerri & Gabby. Jaybird took us to a restaurant in Crawford where we took our pictures with "President Bush."

Annie and John Pence from Lake Fork picked me up and we went together to Fredericksburg to Buzzard's get-together. Nita, MaryAnn and I stayed in a motel room together. It was a great weekend. On the way home, Annie & John stopped at a German restaurant near Austin where I met some of their kids. What a great family; John passed away a year ago.

Then 2 years ago I met a lady from Temple on a cruise ship, but don't know her name!

Now I'm friends with the amazing Vannie. If I've left out anyone , just remember that I'm getting old! *L*

I went to several get togethers in Bakersfield....long ago.
I also met Flamey in Eureka Springs once. What a treat....she saved me from mall shopping!

....after the last gathering here (2005), Dean told me NO MORE until 2010!....HAHAHAHA I bet he figured we would all be too old to do it in '10!

I would LOVE to have another one here in '10! A long weekend...starting Friday pm and ending Sunday noonish!
