pricing on new Carrier system install?

Just got a bid on a new Carrier system and wanted some input on whether it seems reasonable. I live in Central Florida in a small 1,416 s.f., single story, 10-year-old house, and am replacing a 3-ton Trane heat pump. Here are the details on the new bid:

Carrier Performance 25HPA636A003, 2 stage scroll compressor condensing unit, variable speed air handler model FV4CNF003T, with EDGE thermostat controlling temp & humidity, with 10-year parts warranty, 10 year scroll compressor warranty, SEER rating 15. This would be a 3 ton variable. Price $8,406 minus promo offer $608, minus "customer discount" $300, minus estimated "utility company rebate" $150, = $7,506. Subtract the federal tax credit, and it becomes $5,866.

This bid includes addition of one return duct, through the attic. I'm not sure the salesman's claim of a utility company rebate is a sure thing or if he was just guessing about it. If I want a labor warranty, that will be extra. But just wondering if, in general, this is all in the right ballpark.
