i'm pretty sure HAARP can not be species specific and nearly all of the birds were red-wing blackbirds or a subspecies. it's something specific to those birds & specific to those fish... fireworks please LOL i'm an educated person LOL those birds do not fly in the middle of the night lol. when 'officials' start saying stuff like that it makes me 1. want to see their intellectual credentials 2. disbelieve and laugh at all of their conclusions lol. this will get lost in the news of wed just like the missile fired off the west coast story did...and we never find out the truth because everyone just goes on. just like the 'officials' would like lol. if i lived in arkansas thou i'd be very concerned about what happened to those birds, the fish not so much as that is explainable and right now there are some serious issues w/ birds elsewhere on the planet. ~ liz

I'll watch to see if any one remembers the joke too. We had something like that happen to us. This balloon was losing some of it's gas and floated about face high, all over the house. I don't know why we didn't just bust the dang thing, bit it was kind of amusing to see where we would find it in our multi-level house. One night I felt something brushing against my face while sleeping, and woke up with it hovering over me. I got up and put it in the closet. We were getting ready to move and the house was pretty empty. The next day, I went around to check to see if all the closets were empty, and when I opened our closet door, that dumb balloon was right there, face high. Scared the heck out of me. I'm pretty sure I it did it in, then. It's amazing how long they last. Dottie

Mae is still alive in Arkansas.....I got an e-mail from her daughter in law a couple of months ago and she is alive and still as spunky as ever but she is now living with them or in a granny house on their property. She is very forgetful, she said and doesn't get to garden or take care of the llamas like she would like to do. I remember how she used to talk about doing this or doing that before she "tipped over." Her DDIL told her she was say hello from me at the KT but said she wasn't sure she would remember us.

I'm so sorry for all your losses, especially, you Bumpkin, because this is your first holiday season without your husband. I lost my husband in a motorcycle accident 22 years ago when he was just 27. My father died from cancer two months after that. Just lost my mother recently. I feel it all very keenly this year, since my mom just died, and I say a little prayer for everyone missing their loved ones during the holidays.
