Also, their formatting is having the opposite effect as well ... pictures that were formatted as smaller by using height= and width= are now showing up in their huge original size. For example, let's say I have posted 3 pictures side by side. The original size for the first one in pixels is 200x200, the second is 300x300, and the third is 800x800. Using formatting, I could have all 3 pictures show up as 200x200. Their new formatting is overriding the pictures and reverting them to their original sizes, so the 3rd picture is showing up as huge in comparison. Now, let's assume that 800x800 is the largest picture they will allow. If someone posts a picture that is larger than that, then it is automatically being resized down to their max of 800x800. As writersblock pointed out, that is making some of the pics too small to be legible. And they still have not fixed the font style. They still have it in this hard to read font. Can we please revert back to "do no harm" ? Tamara, where are you ?!?!?!?!

I never saw them until today. There are also ads at the bottom of the pages and they only started today too. I noticed the site was really slow earlier, maybe they were implementing the ads and that's why it was slow? The links in messages annoy me.

I've experienced with many large companies (this site is owned by NBC Universal), the meaning conveyed by the words "improve" and "change" often is the same. So when a new person takes over responsibility for something, or if someone is assigned a task to makeover something like a website, it's viewed as an accomplishment if it is changed. It may not be improved, and it may in fact be worse in some ways, but if the work done makes it different, that's rewarded. Thanks for the further keyboard suggestions. An embarrassment of riches. :-D Snidely, the person who built my most recent computer is an IT guy and president of his own small company. He frequently does work for major companies around where I live (Allentown area) and has gone as far as NYC to so work, so he is a very trusted 'geek.' He first built a computer for me in the early 2000s, so when I needed a new one a few years ago I thought of going nowhere else. :-) But if I ever find that he's not available anymore (for building a computer or repairing the one he made for me), I'll just shop for one of the regular brands as you suggest without looking for another home-made one. Thanks again to all for all your feedback!
