Cat is driving me crazy!
Comments (12)Making a little progress here. I moved her round cozy to the floor by the computer and kept pushing her away when I could or immediately dumping her (that feels so mean) and pointing to the cozy. After a while she sat in it and then laid down. She's still catching me, sometimes she sulks. Last night she got back at me. I was reading the paper when she snuck in underneath it and laid down. I reached down and stroked her side, like a flash she turned around and gave my hand 2 quick slaps, with bared teeth, and jumped off. Five minutes later, she came back, laid down on my lap and fell asleep until I had to get up. Is she crazy or am I? The only time I hear her purr is when she leans against me when at the computer but I can't get anything done with her there. I would fix her a spot on the desk but I've been training her not to climb on tables, counters, or work surfaces and she seems to be good about that....See MoreSlow text when typing/posting?
Comments (49)Oh my goodness I have going crazy trying to figure out what saw causing the keyboard problems on my tablet. I tried different browsers and even downloaded a new keyboard app because I thought it might be my swift key keyboard, but just this second my screen disappeared again. I had the bad lag since Thursday evening, all day Friday and right now it's 1:40am central. I was also having letters disappear and jump spaces all day Friday. Using both Chrome browser for android, boat browser for android and the stock browser, two different keyboards. Oh I hope it's all fixed soon, I really was hoping it wasn't my swift key keyboard because I love it. By the way I am using Android kitkat tablet. It really does seem to be much better now, hopefully the screen disappearing was just a fluke. Thanks for working on it....See MoreWhat innocent thing does your SO do that makes you crazy?
Comments (78)..everything's over-engineered, yes ..hates to ask for help or delegate-yes ..dislikes to part with things, what if they'll be of use one day? even if decides to-I can see how excrutiating is for him ...always late-yes ..has this strange persuasion of how he can do everything, it's just that 24 hours isn't enough,50 would fit him more ..different perception of time and space..he'd make a good austronaut, actually.. ..company coming..I don't want to start. lol. He'll go to get something for the table-will be back in 5 hours..and won't be something, will be three times as much of what's needed. and yes, why you start with the garden when we have company coming? ..doesn't give a damn about his health. But is very preoccupied with mine. but my main worry..he doesn't sleep. Drives me crazy. And I don't think it's innocent btw. Plain dangerous.. Otherwise he's amazing and - I love talking to him. Even him always starting with arguments against, even when we vehemently disagree, even when he says something that I find irritating, and I know he just exaggerates for the fun of it. Even when he insiss I don't need Exilis Ultra..)) Even when he drags me to places, when I don't want to go anywhere, period.. I don't know whether I ever had a closer person in my life. A partner, I mean. So what do I ask already? I don't ask for much. Get home and sleep. Gosh! (would be nice to organize the freaking garage too. lol. He promised..I'm waiting...years go by..) How he puts up with me? He makes it seem easy..I know it's not, but he makes it seem that way. I can tolerate myself much less than he can tolerate me Once I tell him: -listen it's maybe good you're of a different gender..makes one reconcile with lots of stuff.. And he answers:: -well, frankly, if I knew a boy like you- I wouldn't be exactly excited to befriend him either.....See MoreDo you text with your thumbs or poke with your finger?
Comments (46)I‘ve looked back at text messages with my co-band-parent, and it’s a riot to try and follow the 3 conversations we had going on at once. Just like being there together, I was in Costco and texted her to confirm how many students and compare prices etc, and in between we were talking about the neighborhood, our older kids, our pets. We had a lot of fun, but we could do it while she was at work. I’ve had conversations from waiting rooms, while watching a movie at home, etc. And with my brother living on the other side of the globe, we can have short conversations that span days, and not mind waiting an hour or 12 between responses....See MoreElmer J Fudd
