Assuming you have a Windows system (as opposed to an Apple/Mac), click on your "Start" Menu and... Start --> Programs --> Accessories --> Notepad I created a shortcut on my Desktop for Notepad so I don't have to go through the "Start" menu each time. (To create a similar shortcut: Click & hold on Notepad and drag it to your Desktop)

Good question! I've always wondered about annoying ads. It turns me off to the advertiser. Whereas low key, context sensitive ads are useful enough that I tend to notice and pay attention to them. When the ads are so annoying that people find ways to get rid of all advertising I don't know how that benefits the advertisers. Pickle, interesting about the Firefox barf. It adheres best to the international conventions and standards, so I wonder if it's MS or Apple or some other big honcho's ware that those sites are constructed for. BTW, I've found that if a page is taking too long to load, it will usually come right up if I back arrow then front arrow. I don't know if it's hanging up on the advertisers or if it's something on my own system, but it works.

"So how does one text? I would love to learn - anyone want to post the instructions?" Basically, you just bring up the menu, then choose "Message." Choose "Text" for the type. Depending on your model phone, you "address" the message by pulling from a "recently used" list, or you can type in the phone number, or you can bring up your list of phonebook/contact names and choose from the list. Then you put the cursor into the area where you enter the text and type out your message. If you have a phone with a "QWERTY" keyboard, you type it just as you would on a typewriter or computer keyboard. If you have a phone where you use the "number keypad," you have to press the "2" key three times before you'd get a "c" or the "3" key twice to get an "e," and so on. Usually pressing the "star" key brings up a selection of things like a period, comma, hyphen, question mark, etc. When you're done entering the text, you push the appropriate key/button to "Send."

Oh my goodness I have going crazy trying to figure out what saw causing the keyboard problems on my tablet. I tried different browsers and even downloaded a new keyboard app because I thought it might be my swift key keyboard, but just this second my screen disappeared again. I had the bad lag since Thursday evening, all day Friday and right now it's 1:40am central. I was also having letters disappear and jump spaces all day Friday. Using both Chrome browser for android, boat browser for android and the stock browser, two different keyboards. Oh I hope it's all fixed soon, I really was hoping it wasn't my swift key keyboard because I love it. By the way I am using Android kitkat tablet. It really does seem to be much better now, hopefully the screen disappearing was just a fluke. Thanks for working on it.
