OT: When do you read/post?
Comments (14)I try to check in most weekday mornings, between 7:30-8:30 EST. Weekends, it's hit or miss. We're usually off & running on Sat. & Sunday morning is brunch at our home. Otherwise, it's during breaks in the day. Evenings, if DH is doing work in his office I will spend time at the computer - prefer that, and reading,(& of course, cooking & baking)to TV. As I read through the posts I reply if I feel I can contribute, and I make a point to log on if I have a question or need help. If I've asked for advice or a recipe, I check in more often and try to acknowledge people who have been kind enough to help me out....See Moreslow has slowed down (only temporarily thank you very much)
Comments (44)Happy to report that yesterday I drove the Jeep for the first time. Easy peasy. Going out again for the next three days - grocery shopping at Walmart, two dr's appts. the next two days. A friend is going w/me today, but after today, I'll be solo flying. Hip is soooooo much better, but the old back is the problem, which never gets better - just worse. Still thanking God for my quick healing - just three months ago, I didn't think I'd be this far along. Thanks for y'all's prayers and concerns. Keep up the good work, mosaicists - you're still the best....See MoreTexting with T9 (Grammy fails the texting test)
Comments (18)"So how does one text? I would love to learn - anyone want to post the instructions?" Basically, you just bring up the menu, then choose "Message." Choose "Text" for the type. Depending on your model phone, you "address" the message by pulling from a "recently used" list, or you can type in the phone number, or you can bring up your list of phonebook/contact names and choose from the list. Then you put the cursor into the area where you enter the text and type out your message. If you have a phone with a "QWERTY" keyboard, you type it just as you would on a typewriter or computer keyboard. If you have a phone where you use the "number keypad," you have to press the "2" key three times before you'd get a "c" or the "3" key twice to get an "e," and so on. Usually pressing the "star" key brings up a selection of things like a period, comma, hyphen, question mark, etc. When you're done entering the text, you push the appropriate key/button to "Send."...See MoreKitchen reveals and DAT threads with missing photos and text
Comments (81)artemis78, I found your link in my "working" list of threads needing repair, and I submitted it on 2/24. You're right, it's still missing all the photos. :-( Modern California Bungalow Kitchen artemis Oct 2011 Thank you for posting, because I also rechecked the last group of threads I submitted around the same time...and found a few more that are still missing photos and/or text. I've sent a new list to Tamara, to re-send to the tech team folks. I'll keep an eye on the threads I resent today. I appreciate the heads up!...See Morekbarb - San Francisco - Z10a
