Who provides floor transition pieces?

We are having hardwood floors installed on all 3 floors of our house and have a situation that has come up that I wanted to see what standard practice would be.

The installer and provider of the wood are all one person. They are going to be putting in transition pieces for all areas in the house except for 3 bathrooms where we are having tile installed. I just found out this morning that they were assuming that the people installing the tile would provide and install the transition pieces into the bathrooms.

To me this doesnt make any sense, if you have hardwood installed throughout a house wouldnt a transition piece typically be hardwood even transitioning into a tile bathroom? ? The reason I am asking what the standard practice is is in case the installer comes back and tries to charge more to make these 3 x transition pieces.

Thanks for any advice!
