The boy - believed to be between 4 and 6-years-old; had dirty blond hair, blue eyes & was wearing a gray colored-camouflage Faded Glory-brand hooded sweatshirt, along with tan-colored khaki pants and "Lightning McQueen" black sneakers, according to State Police. Police said early Sunday that they had no reports of any missing children in either New Hampshire or Maine.
The witness who spotted the truck saw a Naval insignia of some kind on the license plates, according to McDonough, who said a "thought process" and "intuition" is leading him and his team of investigators to look at Naval bases around the region for clues. The truck being sought is a Navy blue Toyota Tacoma pickup with an extended cab and a cap covering the entire back.

Authorities in southern Maine are working to identify the body of a young boy that was found dumped near a remote dirt road over the weekend.
Investigators believed the little boy's body was intentionally placed near a dirt and gravel stretch off Route 4 in South Berwick, near the New Hampshire border, sometime Saturday.
The body was found by a woman who lives in the wooded area and was taking a walk at around 5 p.m.
She spotted a blanket at the end of a driveway and then discovered the body nearby, cops said.
Police believe the body had been there for eight or nine hours.

State Police say "intuition" is leading them to believe a member of the military may be responsible following the discovery of a little boy's body in South Berwick Saturday.
The lead detective on the case, Lt. Brian McDonough, told reporters Tuesday in an afternoon news conference that the Naval Criminal Investigative Service has been contacted as part of his investigation. The witness who spotted the truck saw a Naval insignia of some kind on the license plates, according to McDonough, who said a "thought process" and "intuition" is leading him and his team of investigators to look at Naval bases around the region for clues.

McDonough says his team of 14 state detectives along with authorities from New Hampshire, Canada and Interpol have made it halfway through 200 leads.
