Sofa/Living Room Furniture Help!
Comments (1)I like Lee Industries and The MT Company. Both use 8-way hand tied construction and hardwood frames. There are a lot of easy-to-clean upholstery performance fabrics (Crypton, Inside Out, Sunbrella, Revolution). Look for a cleaning code of W which means you can use water. Or go with something that has a slipcover you can throw in the wash! There are so many good slipcover styles these days, the covers fit so well you can hardly tell it is a cover. Go with a poly-fill back cushion, not a down or down alternative. You'll have to rotate and flip all your cushions, but the poly-fill holds up the best. Look for a lifetime warranty on the frame and suspension and at least 7 years on the cushions. Both of those manufacturers have retailer locators on their site you can find a store near you, or if you don't have one I'm happy to help. You'll never find a sofa company that doesn't have any bad reviews, so the goal is to find a brand with less bad reviews. I've been selling Lee for over 10 years and have very little issues. And more importantly, I get a lot of repeat customers keeping their sofas that are 17 years old - just need a new slipcover!...See Moreliving room furniture help!
Comments (0)Hello! I’m looking to buy a piece to put in this empty space (pictured below- 3rd pic is the space empty, 4th pic is what I currently have in the space). To the left of the room is a large pitted brown couch to the right is our TV with a large media table/fireplace. I’m looking for a piece to lighten up the room beige/off white color. The first two pics were suggestions just not sure if they go. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!!!...See MoreLiving room furniture help
Comments (2)Looks like a wonderful home! I didn't read judy's link, but I think it also depends on how many people you want to seat, whether you want room for a couple of people to stretch out and lounge to watch tv or nap, how much other furniture you want to include in the room. Also consider if you want a chaise or not. I find them really awkward and useless, but others seem to like them ok. If you entertain a lot, esp to watch tv, I find that people don't want to sit on them because there is no back. But if you have parties, some people like that they can perch on either side. The furniture that's there for the staging is a great color and scale in the space....See Moreliving room furniture help
Comments (1)OH I love this!!! So much potential!! I actually think a sectional is good for this space. Bc if you do the two sofas you’ll block the beautiful windows. In terms of the sectional blocking the stone, and even if the stone wasn’t there, I would pull the sofa off the wall and closer to the FP a bit. Or you can do one sofa facing the FP. And a bench on the windows side. And two chairs on the other. Lots you can do with this space!! See visuals below (apologizing that they’re so messy lol! Bit rushed...) Hope it helps 💖...See Moresaraheesmith
