Living room furniture help

Hi everyone. I’m moving into a property that I bought and I’m looking at buying furniture. The photos show the plan of room and I’ll be placing the tv at the right end of the room. I’m looking at help in buying a sectional Sofa. What sized sofa would be suitable for this space? should I have a certain amount of space between the two 3 metre walls? I’m going To have a coffee table. Would it be ok to have another chair too? I’m a total noob here so any ideas would be appreciate. Thanks.

Looks like a wonderful home! I didn't read judy's link, but I think it also depends on how many people you want to seat, whether you want room for a couple of people to stretch out and lounge to watch tv or nap, how much other furniture you want to include in the room. Also consider if you want a chaise or not. I find them really awkward and useless, but others seem to like them ok. If you entertain a lot, esp to watch tv, I find that people don't want to sit on them because there is no back. But if you have parties, some people like that they can perch on either side.

The furniture that's there for the staging is a great color and scale in the space.

Not sure what you are wanting but IMO the TV is too high for the space you have. For now push the coffee table you have over under the TV and sit the TV on it. I don't think I would get a coffee table...no room, especially if you get something to set your TV on. My first instinct was to say move your sectional back, but since there is a wall/hall there, looks better where it is. Hope someone can give you good advice.

Hello! I’m looking to buy a piece to put in this empty space (pictured below- 3rd pic is the space empty, 4th pic is what I currently have in the space). To the left of the room is a large pitted brown couch to the right is our TV with a large media table/fireplace. I’m looking for a piece to lighten up the room beige/off white color.
