ok to save this broth ...?

I make potroast in a crockpot & add can of beef broth, onions, garlic, smoke salt,'beef base' liquidsmoke, etc. & let it cook slowly for 10-12 hours.

The meat is so flavorful & tender and when I removed the meat from the crockpot ( it falls apart it is so tender!)I wondered if I could/should save that rich broth left in the crockpot? I did ....froze it & used it again for the next potroast! Anyone else do this?

My husband prefers to cook it in the oven in a turkey bag but I like my method best!
