Thanks Carla, I'm able to get on now if I type in gardenweb.com. It brings me into the gardenweb site, and then I can click on garden forums to get to all the rose forums. It's not as nice as before, when I could type in gardenweb.com/forums, but it works. I haven't checked today to see if I can get into searching the old threads yet, but I did see yesterday that the gardenweb put up a notice that they were working on that issue. Roselvr, we use comcast. I had a lot of trouble initially getting on this site, but as noted above, since I changed my method of logging on, it's been O.K. I'm glad, as I'll have some questions to post, I'm sure, before too long. I've been really ill for the past month, so I've only been dabbling here and there. Sandy

I use Mozilla and get the redirect. If an advertiser on our company site has a scam ad I know how to pull it and I have limited technical knowledge. Its not like I use anti-virus programs to let me browse porn sites with spyware. I find others. Garden Web is getting reported. This is the email I sent to complain. "The Tree forum has apparently been infested by a virus where it attempts to auto-redirect users to a third party site. I found "as.suitesmart.com" as the destination my browser lists at the bottom. I'm reporting them and I suppose unintentionally the Tree Forum as well to Google's suspicious activity list and the FTC (http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/contact.shtm). If anything goes wrong with any of my banking passwords or anything gets installed I don't want I'll be forwarding their information to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) (http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx). There is a new virus for Macintosh...so they say...and it's connected with the Internet....and Firefox... If I have it myself, it came to me via a robot message from an invaded computer belonging to a daughter...gloryoski...I changed to Safari...

dviolet1, I have cleared my “history and website data”....that seemed to be the precursor to all my problems. I have always cleared my website data/history regularly and have never had a problem with it before. I only have an iPad that I access the internet and gardenweb from. I also access gardenweb from a bookmark on my iPad and it has always taken me to the gardenweb site....but not anymore. Here’s a screenshot of what the layout has always looked like for me before the change. Notice, it says forums.gardenweb.com in the address bar. This is the normal view I have always had. Here’s a photo of the crappy version that I have been stuck with for days now. Notice, this time it says ‘houzz.com’ in the address bar. I had previously been able to get back to the usual format a week or so ago, when it first started happening, with a bit of a workaround, but now no matter what I do I’m stuck on the crappy version. There are others on the Adenium Forum that use iPads that are having the same problem + other problems as well. (Note - this is not happening to everyone that uses an iPad....at least Not Yet) aegis1000, I have tried a new bookmark as you suggested, but it is still redirecting me to Houzz every time I open it. Even if I do a separate search on the internet for gardenweb, (instead of using a bookmark) it still brings me to the houzz version. I have also tried logging out and logging back in, but no luck. :(
