last year my beloved aeschulus pavea were defoliated by winter moth caterpillars. they are beginning again NOW.

in examining the newly emerging/still rolled up foliage, i saw tiny holes and sure enough, inside the rolled leaves are tiny 1/2" green worms. time to spray, friends.i bought BT? last year too late. this year i'm determined to save my precious ones. remember- these pests love ornamental fruit trees, acers etc etc.
