this is the best article I ever read ! on so many levels.... you have been able to convey perfectly, what a gardening journey truly is ...

I still morn the losses a bit ... :-) ...

to "merge" with one garden's spirit and becoming it's protector ... ... and vice-versa ... the garden enhances the gardener's growth ... and blossoming ... ecopshere ...

one of my favourite activities is "plant gathering" from wild areas around here (Bromont, Québec), ... I goofed a couple of time (was not able to keep the precious specimens alive in the garden ...) but had many successes ...

yes there are days I think this garden is ... "bof" as we say in French ... just like any creation, from bread to cake to house to relationships, to art ... there are days we seem uneasy about them ...and then the next morning comes and ... miracle! everything is just so ....! ... ineffable ...

thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience so precisely yet so poetically and philosophically,... a true gift!
