Company's gone so I finally have a few minutes to post some pictures.

I never thought Autumn Wood was a bud builder, but it seems to be this year.

I like all your daylilies but I think my favorites are Radiant Ruffles, it has everything I like in a daylily. I also like Autumn Wood, the color blend is awesome and the ruffles make it. I love the green in the throats . Marg

Thanks everyone for the comments. Karen: Send me an email with your info and I'll mail them to you. I cut off 10 of the greyish/black pods this morning after reading your post. Have the pods on a paper towel drying before I open them up and check the seeds and see how many there are. We had downpours of rain last night and early this morning. Julia

Ugh!! Hate those dang bugs. I am trying so hard not to spray. I have had the worst year with thrips. Have had sooooo many rose blooms with brown on the edges and spotty daylilies. I decided three years ago to stop spraying for bugs and its really really hard once the beetles get here and now I have those dang green grasshoppers that eat up my buds. It seems once one is about gone here comes another. I am clueless at what to do about the thrips though. Soooo frustrating. Sorry to rant on and on!! Your blooms in both post are gorgeous Celeste. As is all the butterflies and sweet Zues and Babe. I too love Party Pinafore (think it was in the other post). Your garden scenes and lilies in those clusters are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing, Judy

I like the smaller size of I See Stars at a time when trendiness is for big flowers. Up Against the Sun is indeed big and well budded. Don't your scapes lean a bit this year? Hadn't seen Kick Out the Jams before.

Thanks Avedon! W. Homestead is probably thanking me for moving it. It was getting too much shade, so I moved it a couple of years ago. It did ok last year, maybe revving up for this year. Julia,Hint of Blue normally really blooms well, it looked pretty good today, but doesn't look like blooms will last long this year. Mantis, Heartbeat of Heaven does look like a possibility for the NOID, the stats pretty well match up. Thanks Kay , Sherry I really like the shape of the blooms on Motown Blues, they always seem photogenic. My fake Siloam will stay here, I quite like it. Debra, I'm quite thrilled with W. Homestead, rarely do I get that much bloom from a plant.

These are all very pretty. AUTUMN WOOD is always one of my favorites. It did not do well here this time because the neighbor's trees are shading it too much. I will be moving it in September. I really like your photo of Cayenne. It shows the spatulate nature of the daylily very well.

Looks like Autumn Wood did well for almost everyone this year.
Radiant Ruffles is a great plant. It has a bud count in the 20s and it repeats for me. It usually blooms for about 6 weeks.
Cayenne was new for me this year and didn't have a lot of blooms, but I do like the ones it did have and am hoping for more of them next year.
Kay and Julia, thanks for the comments on my seedling. Julia, the cross is Wild Mustang x Red Peacemaker.

I am so glad that I got AUTUMN WOOD this year! Saw a few blooms on the pot that I got and can't wait for a whole clump to form.

That seedling does look nice:)
