I didn't even noticed that my cat 'bowie' was in both pics. He is always following me when I'm outside, always wanting to know what I'm doing. anyway, no secret with the daffs, the ones in the picture are a double daff named 'Manly' I also have the double Tahiti, The doubles are great because they are a later blooming daffodil and you can get a very long daff season with them. Only trouble with them is sometimes if you have a cold snap when the buds are forming , they don't open well. Only had a few this year that did that. Cindy

LOL. I just love the purple / silver combo. There will probably be variations of it throughout the house before we're done. We'll get there. Of course since we're getting an induction range and my pots (that I love...) all have thick copper bottoms I'm going to have to get all new pots. It'll happen eventually. I'm hoping I'll be able to cook something other than my magic microwave meals for Christmas.

What a great story with photo proof! I think I probably kill more hostas by trying to baby them too much. They really are tough and want to survive under adverse conditions. When I have a pot full of rot, there are almost always a few small buds with tiny white roots trying desperately to grow. (except for the $$$ ones, of course. -Babka
