Let's Talk Fruit

Someone recommended "Florida's Best Fruiting Plants" book on the forum, and since I have had it I am devouring it cover to cover. I currently have Pineapples, Grapes (Concord and Ison black) Thornless blackberries, Raspberry from Tony, Raja Puri banana from Lady, struggling blueberry, Pink Varigaated Lemon, My Prized Vietnam Pomegranate from Lisa, and a Carambola tree I grew from seed. Also have some key lime seedlings coming up. But these are fruits I know and like a lot. I am wondering where I can find samples of some more exotic fruits that I hear so much about and would like to try. Three that particularily interest me are the Jaboticaba, the Lychee and the Longan. Can anyone describe their qualities, flavors? Where might I be able to sample some fruits to see if I really like them?
