Of course they have green blood!

So the other day, I was looking at my habanero pepper trying to figure out how it could be filled with peppers and have virtually no leaves. There is was. A tomato hornworm.

Those things are huge. Now I am not very squeamish (I will gather up multiple live japanese beatles in my hand until I can get them in some soapy water) but this thing was massive and just so mean looking. So I got some really thick gloves and flushed it down the toilet.

Then I read that you should look for their very obvious droppings near a plant and then look up and you will find your culprit. I also read that you should just snip them in half and they make nice little bits of bird food.

So I do my search and find another monster on an eggplant (under a leave) hold my breath and cut it in half. EWWW green blood spurted everywhere.

Any way they are something to look out for now.
