Please help with posting photos

Okay. I've got the pictures on photobucket and even sent them to this website. The html code text shows up but not the photos. How do I correct this?

In PhotoBucket,click on the album name. That will take you to the page that shows a grid of thumbnails. If you hover your mouse over an image it will display 4 links below the image, "Email & IM", "Direct", "HTML", and "IMG Code". You want the HTML one ...

It will look like "less than sign"a href="http://....

Paste that in your message without quotes as below:

Go to Photobucket.com and sign up, it's free. Upload the photos. 'Copy' the HTML code. 'Paste' it in the Message of your post. You will see a code, but when you preview message, you will see your photo's. Christy :)

Sorry, it's Angel Face. This rose drives me nuts. It was one I inherited from my mom so it has sentimental value but the dang thing is the worst black spot magnet in the bed. I don't know how it survives every winter because it spends half the season defoliated. But with all the loses I took this year this ones doing great. It's leafed out all over. I'd shovel prune it but mom loved it and I'm afraid she haunt me if I do lol. The blooms are lovely and the scent is fabulous, of course, so I guess I'll hang on to it.

Lots of posts here on how to do it that a search will pull up for you and there is also a FAQ on how to do it. But one more time - 1) upload your photo to one of the many free online storage sites. I prefer photobucket as they make it very easy to do but there are many other choices. 2) once it is stored there, reduce it to message board size if necessary - that is approx. 600x400 for GW as the larger pictures take far too long to load and distort the screen for many users. 3) copy the HTML url they give you for the pic - it is the url that begins 4) paste that URL in the text of your message here 5) use the preview to make sure the picture loaded and that it isn't too big. 6) hit the submit button on your post. Great colors! How are you all cleaning the colored portions of your BS? Just a damp rag? My RAL4004 got installed last week and so far, I am loving it! I just want to make sure I don't mess up the finish. Also, ctycdm, I noticed in another thread where you posted a close up of yours and I'm curious as to what kind of feet you put under yours.

I always have to re-fresh my memory about how to manage the photos here too. It is so much easier on forums with BB code and the little buttons on top for the images and links and all.

You're almost there.
The html text shows in your message but you won't be able to see the actual picture until you move on to the preview.
Meaning you won't see anything until you click on
"Preview Message" below.
