Help posting photos please

Hey all!! A few of us more technically challenged gardeners have written a few times requesting help with posting photos. I know we're all busy making manure teas and all, but can someone who has a second and more technical know-how than me give me a hint on how to post photos. Would greatly appreciate it.

Lots of posts here on how to do it that a search will pull up for you and there is also a FAQ on how to do it.

But one more time -

1) upload your photo to one of the many free online storage sites. I prefer photobucket as they make it very easy to do but there are many other choices.

2) once it is stored there, reduce it to message board size if necessary - that is approx. 600x400 for GW as the larger pictures take far too long to load and distort the screen for many users.

3) copy the HTML url they give you for the pic - it is the url that begins 4) paste that URL in the text of your message here

5) use the preview to make sure the picture loaded and that it isn't too big.

6) hit the submit button on your post.

In PhotoBucket,click on the album name. That will take you to the page that shows a grid of thumbnails. If you hover your mouse over an image it will display 4 links below the image, "Email & IM", "Direct", "HTML", and "IMG Code". You want the HTML one ... It will look like "less than sign"a href="http://.... Paste that in your message without quotes as below:

I see some folks have posted photos but I haven't yet figured out how to do this. Pics can be posted to any forum. First you will need to upload your pic to an on line pic storage site. I use and like Photobucket,, the free version. Once you have your pic at Photobucket, just follow the steps below. 1...just type your message,...or in this case a reply to this post, changing the Subject of Posting line by one character. 2...open Photobucket in another tab 3...find the pic you want to post in the message, 4...click on HTML code found in the third box below the pic. It will say copied in yellow, 5...go back and paste the HTML in your message box, 6...hit preview, You will then see your message, and the actual pic, and 7... lastly hit submit. If you have any problems, stop over at The Test Forum Gallery and someone will be glad to help. Sue

Sorry, it's Angel Face. This rose drives me nuts. It was one I inherited from my mom so it has sentimental value but the dang thing is the worst black spot magnet in the bed. I don't know how it survives every winter because it spends half the season defoliated. But with all the loses I took this year this ones doing great. It's leafed out all over. I'd shovel prune it but mom loved it and I'm afraid she haunt me if I do lol. The blooms are lovely and the scent is fabulous, of course, so I guess I'll hang on to it.

Great colors! How are you all cleaning the colored portions of your BS? Just a damp rag? My RAL4004 got installed last week and so far, I am loving it!
