nematode success stories

I need to hear some. After pulling out my freeze killed tomatoes, I am clearly seeing damage from root knot nematodes. We are going into year 4 of this garden plot. Each season, at least 4" of organics are added/tilled: oak leaves, seaweed, horse manure, compost, fish parts. My county extension office said at least 5 years of this routine before I see improved nematode control. We have planted sesame as a cover crop after reading that might help, and inter plant marigolds, but this has not done the job yet. Next step is solarization...but I still hope to have a spring planting....
