Rich and Susan Eyre of the Rich's Foxwillow Pines folks in Woodstock, IL brought to the ACS annual meeting for me a five foot Pinus koraiensis 'Avocadra'. Probably of Pine species this is in my top couple.

Then, Gee Farms grafted for me and Keith 'The New American Witches' Broom Hero' & Evan the guy who found the new and only second that I know of Abies borisii-regis broom known - 'F.R. Newman' found at the grounds of Cornell University, New York - they brought a ton of grafts for me and the guys. Plus I met some of the honchos and a few Garden Webber's. What a day!

I'd also like to acknowlege with thanks to Darren for the plants he brought from Canada for me. One of which is Metasequoia 'Silouette' a gold-tipped version from Holland.

Me at the Garden of Laura and Jeff Rathje. Pinus contorta 'Taylor's Sunburst' in the background. McCausland, IA.
