A Good Red to Deep Red for Hot Dry Climates

I would not be without a Don Juan climber. In my hot dry summers, this bush is bullet proof, puts out blooms, has healthy disease free leaves despite temperatures ranging from the 100's to about 124. Sorry I am still in convalescence mode and took this photo with my IPhone so it is not great. The color is really true red, with no orange or pinkish tones. This bloom is at least three days old. The leaves are a thick, dark green.

I looked out the window a few days ago and couldn't believe D.J. had the audacity to have so many blooms that are at least 3" during this weather, but then again, it is Don Juan.

Oops. Posted in the other forum now.
