Most of my Bucks have come from 3 sources -- Pickering, Chamblees and Northland Rosarium. Northland has an extensive selection of Bucks, but supplies only band-size plants. Thankfully, I've not had virus problems with Bucks -- at any rate, no signs have yet emerged. I've read, however, that RMV is an issue with some varieties that apparently were infected BEFORE being introduced into commerce (a result of grafting onto diseased understock). Perhaps someone else here knows more about that, and can provide info on specific varieties that may be problematic. BTW, perhaps I've been inattentive, but I don't think you've been posting here much lately. If that's correct, welcome back! We've missed your comments/observations/thoughts/opinions . . .

Now, you can see if Davis might have what you're looking for. Karolina is correct, no matter what has been hyped on a few sites for several decades. "Own root" does NOT mean "virus free", UNLESS the plant from which the cutting was taken WAS virus free. Root or bud something from an infected plant and it is virtually guaranteed to be virused. Take VI buds and put them on infected root stock and they will be virused. Bud VI buds to VI stock and they will be as clean as cuttings taken from VI plants.
