size isn't everything (usually)

just wondering, after reading Wintercats description of an 'ectremely small' urban garden of 250 square metres, how much space do you have....and what do you consider counts as big or small. I know some folk only have a balcony or even a window box but my garden is 36 square metres (and is rather average, especially for newer houses. The greenhouse takes up a quarter of the space and there is only room for 11 roses. Even so, there is actually a space for several people to sit (perch) and hundreds of seedlings and at least 50 large terracotta pots....although they are creeping outside a little.

I am being a bit disingenuous here as I also rent a much larger plot (my allotment) of 500square metres which seems gigantic in comparison, although there is no space given over to grass at either place (apart from a tiny square where grabndaughter has a swing).
