About me: I have enjoyed gardening since I was a child. My latest fascination is the hosta garden, although my roses are still the favorites. There are quite a few perennials featuring Siberian Iris, chrysanthemums, rudbeckia, ferns and heuchera to keep the hosta company. My gardening style has been described as "Informal Bohemian Cottage". My half-acre lot, south of Allentown, PA, includes:
Sugar Maples, Red Maples, White Pines, Douglas Fir, Spruces, White Birch, Dogwoods, Kwansan Cherry, Redbud, Crab Apple, Ornamental Peach, 50 azaleas, 20 rhododendrons, sweet viburnums, lilacs, hollies, spireas, hydrangeas, butterfly bushes and clematis.
Roses:-2006-Sweet Chariot, Westerland (2) 2005-Souvenir de la Malmaison, William Shakespeare 2000, Gloire de France 2004-Rose de Rescht, Sweet Bouquet aka Focus (Hybrid Musk), Earth Song(2), Firefighter (3), The Mayflower (3), Neptune 2003-Tamora, Knock Out (4), Flower Carpet Red, Flower Carpet Coral (2), Tiffany 2002-Heirloom, Peace, New Zealand, Sweet Surrender, Secret 1999-Rugosa Purple Pavement (Rotesmeer)
