Just seeded NW WY yard with fescue, now what?

I know it is a little late okay very late to be planting seeds in this part of the world but a shoulder injury 6 weeks ago put me out of commision. As it is I only have one working arm to do the work I did.

So I had someone run a rototiller on my bare front yard. I then removed a bunch of rocks and raked in 6 cu ft of organic amendment. Then used a seeder to spray a mixture of seed starter and tall fescue seeds.

My questions are what should I do to ensure the best for these seeds?

How often should I water and how moist should I keep the lawn?

Should I cover the lawn area with something as it gets cold or starts to snow to ensure a better spring lawn?

Thanks for any suggestions.
