hello all - as most of you in the midwest know we have not had substantial rain since late april - i am watering my lawn 1-2 times per week (kbg) only 2 years old - some areas

where the water does not seep in deep enough are starting to show signs of dormant or dying out - i made some small repairs to it last fall & this spring it was beautiful - now the ohio summer is intending to do it in - i would like to know from some of the others here what is the easiest way to repair large ares of a lawn - not too large an area for mine is a normal city lot - i normally rake up all the dead grass - put down good topsoil & add seed - i am getting older now & not as limber as i used to be w/ the onset of arthritis in my hands - any help would be appreciated - i wish everyone well in the dry days to come -
