Here are the steps.

1. Create a new google account, if you don't have one.
2. On www.google.com,select 'More' - 'Photos'
3. Create 'New album'. (button in right hand)
4. 'Upload photos'
5. Once you have uploaded photos, select any picture that you want to post.
6. In right hand bottom corner, select 'Link to this Photo'.
7. Copy the url provided in box - 'HTML to embed in website'
8. Paste it in the message.
9. You can do the same if you want to post the whole album. Just select Album and paste it's link.

Did you select the photo? Once you have selected or double click any photo, it should open a window with enlarged photo and in right hand bottom corner you should see 'Link to Photo'.

I have attached the snapshot of that below. Please find the circled link in right hand bottom corner.

I use Picasa program for the computer to download the pictures from the digital camera. From there, you can do whatever like cropping, make some adjustments,etc and you can send pictures via email directly from there or upload to Picasa web album from there directly. It's great.

By the way, when you do link the pictures to the forum from Picasa web album, make sure to use the large size. you should be able to see the option. At first, I had no idea and was going with the smallest size (always automatically) and it is too small for the forum.

I like to post images so you can see them here in the message rather than providing an outside link to the picture at another website. Here's how I do it from Mediafire, another file hosting site.

1. Post the picture to your favorite permanent location on the Internet
2. Open the picture in a different window and adjust to the size I want
3. Right-click in the picture and select Copy Image Location

Then in my GardenWeb message, I use the HTML code for viewing an image. It looks like this

<img src="yourURLhere">

The quotes are important - they belong there no matter what. Inside the quotes you paste your URL location. It will probably end with the extension .jpg. Thus when I type the following code into my message

<img src="http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/4038da7fd3132a018d9998f4f9185f1f4g.jpg">;

I get the following picture of the borderline between a buffalo grass lawn on the right and a scrubby fescue lawn on the left.
