Prosperity, I just had an idea for an easy way to do a wreath. Take some black fabric, tear it in strips three or four inches wide. Now take your scissors and cut from one side only 3/4 of the way to the other side to make a "fringe". Wrap the strip of fabric around the wreath fluffing up the "fringed" part as you go. Secure with straight pins or hot glue. Might not be quite as "fluffy" but would still be cute. You could also just glue something like spanish moss or the shredded paper used for gifts, give it a couple light coats of black spray paint, and you would have a "fluffy" wreath too! Now you all know why I can't sleep well some nights--the brain just keeps churning out "crafty" ideas! LOL Cindy, I hope you find your scissors. I think the little ones would love them. Actually, you could just have straight sides too and it would be fine. It's the eyes and bow and shape that make them cute. Have fun. Luvs P.S. I don't like the ones I did with the glittered edges. Ohhhhh I love that one too Lyd! I remembered the one in your bedroom and really liked that one also! (you should post a pic of it) I have an old 6 pane window in our bedroom,no glass, no paint and weathered, that just has greenery and fake peach roses twined around it. I have been thinking of this old window in the garage since I painted the kitchen and just didn't know what to do with it. I just did a search for "coffee shop signs" and got some ideas, now *IF* I can find things to do it with is another story....got to keep my eyes peeled.

Those strands took me 15 mins. apiece, and that was if I didn't make any mistakes (I made a lot of booboos since each strand had its own pattern). The math/pattern alone on that was tough enough to figure out. I started out thinking I'd bead fringe for the whole thing, but quickly changed my mind. If you're not insane already, doing that job will put you there. lol I'm putting the surgery off till I finish the toy box. Both hands have bad osteoarthritis in the thumb joint, and hurt all the time, so I'm eager to get them fixed!

No, it is fabric that comes very close to matching my living room furniture. I used some really light batting, just to give it some "plump", but thin, so that I can still set things on it. I thought about painting a floral design on the sides, but thought that might end up being too busy. I'm an trying for a very simply, cottage look in my living room. So I opted not to paint it, and just go with the floral fabric.
