Toomuchglass ... good to see some posts from you...we've missed you and I wrote asking about you: under the "Kirk and Susiesunshine...you ok" I can't help you with the totems but I'm finding myself keeping and collecting beautiful glass that I would normally just use for indoor decor or goodwill it. What beautiful totems all these wonderful garden junkers are making...and I know your work is beautiful, too! Good luck with the craft show and the snow is melting here today! Well, they were definitely frog eggs. I moved some to the bath tub with lilies & just in time, too. The fish found them shortly after. The ones in the tub are bigger than tadpoles & are a beige, tan color. They seem to like duckweed, LOL. I'm thinking leopard frog. Haven't got a pic yet ... batteries are low on camera. They're fighters, too. The tub drained twice (completely & don't know for how long but the minnows in there died) & yet they're still alive & kicking. The tub has been fixed & won't drain again.

First of all, don't panic, yellowing leaves isn't usually a sign of impending death unless it goes on for a long time (brown or black, on the other hand, are not particularly happy colors for roses). It could be that they're recovering from replanting, or more likely, from finding themselves with a bit too much water to drink in their new, larger homes. Let them get just a bit dry before watering again (not totally dry, but the very top of the soil should be slightly dryish on top and the pot should feel quite a bit lighter than when it's wet); this often seems to help new plants' roots adjust and breathe after their first transplant, when they're small and fragile, and these deep (but not frequent) waterings help to prevent root rot in most containerized plants. I would also give them as much direct sunlight indoors as possible - remember that sun coming through a window is already filtered quite a bit by the glass, so anything less than that is truly shade as far as the rose is concerned! This will also help them speed up their use of some of the excess water in their potting medium, if there is any.

I just opened this thread today and read through everything. This was like a "Judith" lesson on building a vignette! Shee, your centerpiece is lovely. It has reallly transformed over the course of this thread from OK to great. I love the fabric that you first added. It really changed the whole look. Then adding height...The basket brings it together. I, too, like Betty's idea to spray paint it darker - I think it will "ground" it. I especially like the link you found with the white pumpkin on the pedestal with the fall arrangement. I'm going to shamelessly copy that one! You are definietly going to WOW your Thanksgiving guests.
