Outside Playing, Gougane Barra is very scenic and has such a peaceful feeling. That was the view from our room where we stayed. The walk around the grounds was so enjoyable. I don’t think that one could take a poor photo there.

my son has fawns born in his back yard every year, sometimes just 1 but often 2 or 3. his house is on 3 acres at the edge of the city and the back yard is all fenced and surrounded by huge pine trees. i think the mommas see it as very safe for their babes.

I had been my Mom’s caregiver for many years. She had lived in her apartment since ’95 when she sold the house. She had been declining, but she really wanted to stay there as long as she could. She was legally blind on top of all the other issues so her space was really important to her. When it was no longer safe, my sister came to get her. She spent the last nine months of her life in my sisters house in the countryside.

It was a heartwrenching moment when we got my Mom and some of her belongings all packed up in my sisters car. My sister cried. I kept it together till I got into mine and started it.

We didn’t have sirius radio. This song came on…..

Another of Peter Toth's tribute to the American Indian. This one was his first one, just 20 miles from my home. It started our many thousands of motorcycle rides to hunt them down. We traveled through 46 states to find them. Those were truly the good old days for me.

June 2019, last time all 5 of my siblings and I were together. So much love and laughter. This pic is of Mike and Bart (my 2 older brothers) holding hands. They died within 3 months of each other. Theirs was the strongest bond I have ever witnessed. I miss them endlessly.

This is one of the last photos of my son, Nathan. 1992

We had spent the weekend visiting at my in-laws farm and he was very excited about getting an old Oliver tractor running. The next day was the Grey Cup semifinal football game on television. My husband, my daughter, Nathan and I were all watching when he stood up and collapsed. He died from an undiagnosed heart defect. He was 15 years old.

Oh Roxsol, how sad. What a handsome guy he was. Im so sorry.

My dad used to fly kites with us on the beach. This is a spool he built so we could let the kite out really far and bring it back in. His job was demanding and time consuming, so time with him was special, and days on the beach were such fun.
