Comments (22)Sorrow. The last picture of my sister and me. June 3, 2019. On April 13, 2019, she was diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic cancer. They said 3-6 months. She didn't even make 2 months. Died on my dad's birthday, June 9, 2019. I am the oldest sibling in my family, always figured I'd be the first to go. Never thought it would be Sandy, who was number 4 of 6. I remember standing on my tiptoes looking at her in the buggy the day she and Mom came home from the hospital. Luckily, I have many pictures and great memories. Comments (73)I cant say that it is very different from the love I feel for my daughter and sons. But, there is a special happiness from knowing our family is expanding to another generation. Our three kids are now 37, 34 (DD) and 29. We privately wondered if we would ever be blessed with grandchildren. The two boys (I should probably call them men at this point) are still light years from marriage. We are hoping DD and SIL will have another. He is from a family of four kids and his sister is having a fourth child, so SIl’s family culture is for larger families. . I looked and looked. It was so bad that I got my Undies in a knot.

Underwater creature. Bubble coral with an anemone shrimp. Teeny tiny, taken with a Nikon D200, dual strobes, macro lens and of course an underwater housing. We have 4" magnifying glasses we carry to help us see some of the little creatures.

4 years agoI had to get creative to find a U in my pics. So I call this "uninvited dinner guests". The cats are the uninvited. That wheelbarrow full was how much I fed the raccoons every night.
