And another one……..

This is scrappy quilt number three, not counting Wrigley, since Jan.

I think I will take a break and do something a little more controlled. Wrigley 2 is waiting to be sandwiched.

I found this pattern on Pinterest posted by Doodlebugs and rosebuds. There were no pattern instructions but easy enough to work out. I had finished the quilting yesterday afternoon.

There is a quilter youtuber, named Lori Dickman, who does a lot with scraps and in yesterday’s video, she was doing this pattern. She did not say where she found the pattern but ’I knew’.

Off to the dentist.

Wow, Theresa! Another great finish.

I am really hankering to sew. My quilting machine has been packed up since I finished the baby quilts (seems like months ago!) and my sewing room has been packed for a couple of weeks. I took my machines to the new house last week and disassembled the quilting frame yesterday.

The movers are coming on Tuesday and delivering to the new house on Wednesday, so maybe in a week or two I’ll be sewing again!

Sounds like you are well organized and will be back at it in no time flat. Great fun!

I was working on Wrigley this afternoon when my foot pedal lost power. Oh no!!

I hope the pedal from my second machine will fit. or maybe it just needed a rest.

RIT makes a color remover, but it might remove the other colors in the rug as well. I would check it out before using it, and a regular-sized washer needs at least 2 packets. Good luck!

I only watched the first video so far but found it so charming-- something she said in the beginning of the video really resonated with me: they both work at home so having a lovely space was important to them. Yes! I am feeling the same ... I have started and stalled or put a number of projects on hold. I have been nesting these last few weeks and am ready to restart some of them. Not sure I am going to take on painting walls just yet but definitely the fireplace (when I am no longer using it daily) and some furniture. Little touches make such a difference. Thank you for sharing -- it is inspiring and charming.

Theresa, I love your quilt. What a perfect pattern to use the Kaffe Fasset fabrics, and you did a great gob with arranging the blocks colorwise. Your drunken quilting was just right for this quilt. I know what you mean about the white-on-white fabric. The top I just finished had a light oatmeal color print that was next to impossible to determine right from wrong side. I had to be so careful.

These two Bosches are "new" because Bosch has refreshed its lne with new features for models higher in the line. The only addition for the 300 series is beng able to connect and interact with the machine via your phone. Get the 300 and not the 100 as the 100 has the hybrid tub which is a combintion of a plastc base and stainless steel wall. The 300 is all stainless.

Theresa, no wonder your foot pedal wore out. You have overwhelmed it with your productivity. You’ve shown us what great quilts can be made with scrap strips and squares.

Donna, it’s hard to be unable to sew when you want to. We’ve been back home for about 10 days, and I’d love to be sewing, but between putting everything away and doing yard work, I’ve not gotten to it yet. Soon, I hope. I wish the same for you.

LOL! I was going through the photos on my ipad and discovered I made this quilt once before, two years ago. I have no recollection of doing that. Old age does things to your memory.

I think I have the foot pedal working again, yay!, but my actual right foot needs repair.

The base of my foot , that pad of flesh under the big toe, is inflamed. Now did I overuse my foot on the foot pedal, these past few weeks, or do I have gout?? Dr. isn’t quite sure which it is but I guess I really do have to take a break. A good time to clean up ’the mess’.

Theresa, I really like that scrappy pattern. It's on my not so short list of ones to make. Try increasing you water intake, that will help if it is gout.
