Since the tag is still on the glass why don't you look it up online or ask the folks who installed it?

That’s for hydro clear coating. I did ask, and they say yes. But our contractor has been a huge pain, and we don’t trust him completely. Such a shame because when we contracted him, he seemed great. So I’m just hoping for some internet reassurance.

I think it is. You would see a distortion in inside/outside color when looking at that white threshold through the glass, if you had plain shower glass. It is called LOW iron glass and not NO iron glass, so it isn't going to be perfectly transparent.

This is the difference between no and low iron get apiece of clear glass and compare but usually glass has a lable on it . I would say you have low iron .

I don't know if anyone can be 100% sure based on your internet photos, but I am seeing a slight blue gray tinge when I look at the photos. If I compare your photos to the photo below yours look more like the photo on the left than the photo on the right

2 more questions, does silicone look well done? It appears super sloppy to me. But we’ve never had this kid of work done. We paid over $5k for the glass doors, so in no way did we go “cheap.”

My other question is about the 3 photos I just posted. We purchased hydro clear coating. Of the 3 panels the hydro clear sticker was on the outside, and 1 panel the hydro clear was on inside of the glass. The sticker specifically says that it goes on the outside of the glass. I inquired with the glass company, and they said that they had just moved that one sticker when installing to clean the glass. But then we noticed that the etching on the bottom corner of the glass for the 2 panels with the sticker read one way, while the etching on the other (with the sticker on the wrong side) read opposite. For glass doors is the etching typically always on the same side? With both of those things, we are very hesitant to believe that this panel was installed correctly. It’s obviously a major issue if the hydro clear coating is on the outside of the glass, and not inside. It’s been problem after problem with our contractor, and the glass experience hasn’t been great from the start.

Call the manufacturer.

The etching is simply stating what standards were met for tempering the glass and for coating the glass. There is nothing so far that indicates it is low iron glass and the idea that they moved the sticker but the etching was done on the opposite side of the glass is really difficult to believe.

There is still no evidence that this is low iron glass.

The silicone looks like a 3 year old did it. I would not be happy with a job that was this sloppy.

There is NO Glass with No Iron. Low Iron has a fraction off the iron that regular glass has. NO clue on the Hydroshield but I will say from your original picture I could not be sure but after the second round of pics you definitely have low iron glass. The blue on the edge gives it away, were it not it would be green and much darker. I am in the glass business.
