I share your concern with the double-sided fireplace. Maybe if you 3-D model it, you can see how you feel about those sight lines and decide if you should move to the end of the living room instead. Also I wouldn’t want the doorway to my primary bedroom opening directly into the living room. Can you have it open into the stair hallway instead? And lastly, it’s a little hard to read, but is that an office in the upper right? If so, make sure you have a solid door to the laundry room. If someone is trying to work/ is on zoom or conference calls, the noise of the washer/ dryer right there could be sub-optimal. And lastly, the windows in the upstairs seem really small. Will those bedrooms get enough light?

Agree hard to read but my main thought was same as imckuin - move the master door so you have some privacy and sound protection from LR. i’m not sure what an easy breeze is but i’d rather have 2 sitting areas more separated rather than in a row. i don’t love open plans so don’t have strong feeling on fireplace. if i had toddlers at home i might prefer it to be more open.

Is this a vacation house, or full-time residence? In either case, no garage? In that location? In winter? (I’m on the other side of the big lake.)

What is the space between the stairs, bathroom, and primary bedroom? I would think it would be a nice passageway to the bedroom door for a little privacy.

I can’t read the text or room sizes. What is the room to the right of the front door, that is open to the laundry room?

Do you need two ensuites upstairs, or would a hall bath do, allowing for, say, a linen closet upstairs, maybe larger closets in bedrooms?

Upstairs, which direction do those small square windows face?

Another question on the small square windows in the upstairs bedrooms - will they qualify as egress? they need to be a large enough opening and low enough to climb out of - they look both too small and too high.

Determine this now - as they look like they may interfere with the roof if they get lowered.

I know that wide open spaces are the in thing, but honestly most houses do better with some delineation between spaces and some nod to "walls", even minimal, to help with furniture placement. You don't want to end up with a giant space with all the furniture floating around in the middle like a furniture showroom. Lots of people do and then they can't figure out how to place furniture and every outlet is 10 feet away. I am not sure a sightline of the TV from the kitchen sink or a sightline from the chair at the far left of the plan directly to the kitchen sink is a plus.

So true it has been a struggle indeed to figure out where and how I can furnish. It is so long and narrow.

I will check on those windows upstairs ! I hope they are not too small😳 there are 3 windows in each bedroom so I guess I didn’t think too much about them being too small. I have been so focused on the downstairs I have not really thought too much about upstairs. I would have liked to use the floor space for something other than the two separate bathrooms up there but my daughters disagree and were excited for their own bathrooms 🤔🤷‍♀️

Katie, in most jurisdictions only one window is required to provide egress opening size and distance off of the floor, so the one that needs to be checked is the one each on the front and rear elevations.
