Home Interiors & Jodie White, Sorry guys. I'm new to this. Obviously, i need to create an Ideabook! I tend to go more towards muted brown, red, yellow/gold, rust colors (in past), but open to other somewhat neutral palettes. I actually love the console, but was considering an antique cream color (if I could make that work?). My tastes tend to be traditional, rustic, a little farmhouse (pottery barn, restoration hardware, ballard designs) but with so many current needs, all those in a TIGHT budget! Aktillery9, i do like all of those looks. My husband did just tell me, due to wiring, there is chance we may not be able to mount on flat wall as i hoped, so i may be forced to go back to corner console again. :( When I get a chance, I'll post some of my fav looks.

Order the rug you like in the smallest size...then if you like it, send back the "sample" and get the full size one. What is it that clashed about the ones you sent back? The room is very neutral in black white and cool gray, and the floor is warm tone. Maybe that's it. The mix of warm and cool tones...get a rug with those tones.

Get an 8 x 10 or 9x 12 ( down below), You will find more, pay quite a bit less in 8 x 10 as rugs are priced in sq, feet, basically. there fore it's 80 sq feet vs 108. and the price will reflect that. Take THAT table and put it between the two stripe chairs, and I care not, what you do with that one: ) Get rid of some of the faux dead floral stuff...please, and trade the glass hurricanes for something less fragile with more weight..on you coffee table You could stand a couple table lamps, so less light comes from the ceiling.. and beyond that? This is the rug I ended up ordering!...I liked the colours of ffpalms but wasn't sure about the pattern and then I came across this...Its cozy and the colours are muted but match the colours of the stained glass...Thank you all for your help...I also love the piece of art on the wall but haven't purchased it yet. I will wait for the rug and then decide what I want there but thank you again @ffpalms for the idea to stack the windows and hang a piece of art...The wall looks busier but also fuller in a good way :) Thank you so much for your kind words!
