My roller shades block the sun and gives me total privacy if I choose to close them at night. My shades cover the full glass part of my windows, but not the outside trim. My windows are standard double hung, and yours appear to be sliding windows. If you do get shades, no matter what material type, and close them at night (just an assumption on my part) wouldn't you need to raise them in order to open the window if you choose to? Would that bug you at all? I may be prejudiced toward drapes, as I make them myself and love fabrics, so change them more often than others might. Here is a pic that I found online with a window similar to yours that may help you decide....See MoreNeed help with Bedroom Window Treatments

Since the wall paint is fresh and pretty and since you like the grey headboard, consider sticking with fewer colors repeated in more elements and then add just one shade of blue as your proverbial pop? The photos that deco added are so pretty partly because they stick closely to plan....See MoreHelp with bedroom window treatment
Comments (0)Hi everyone - need suggestions on how to dress these windows in my bedroom. I need blackout window treatments otherwise I won't be able to sleep. From trim to trim is about 117 inches. My current thoughts are: 1) 4 sets of curtains. Do I have enough clearance in between the windows or will it look too bulky? 2) 2 wide curtains. Not alot of options for wide curtains. Is it too much if I do two 100" curtains? Worried it'll be too bulky. 3) If I ditch the curtains.. Any other way to get blackout but still have it look nice? Thank you....See MoreDorothy Dueck
