Okay, creative people, do any of you have any suggestions for some sort of wall art to put next to the door (on one side or both) ? Looking to hide the electrical plate(s) and imperfections. thanks in advance!

Comments (13)The piano needs to sit under that chandelier with its lid opening so the sound is thrown out into the room and not into a wall. Or you need a larger round foyer table to sit under the chandy. Make the sitting room comfortable for enjoying a concert. I see art, large statues or sculptures in the niches up top. Pick up the colors from the fireplace art in a sexy aqua or turquoise sofa on the wall with sconces and a mirror, brass and glass coffee table and accessories. Maybe ivory chairs flanking the FP and a bench or chaise at the window. The room needs a large rug and the piano needs one too. Drapes on the windows will enhance the acoustics too. Here's Sherwin Williams' take on colors of the time https://www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/color-through-the-decades/1970s Not likely it contains asbestos. Lots of articles about that if you google. I posted some old tile on Craigslist for free. Had a lot of takers. If you have a lot of it, you might be able to get some $ for it. If not, check to see if Habitat ReUse near you will take it. They are getting sort of picky about what they'll take around me....See More
