Hello you asked about the dining room, but gave the information for the island. This also looks like you willl only see the lights together on a limited basis, pleas post the size of the dining table and a view of that room. does it have another door way or aore you saying the dining table goes in this kitchen space?

I think it would be nice to mimic your lights’ circular shape, but size/style comes down to the size/style of dining set. Love these and probably can be found in various sizes.

Thank you for the great input so far. The dining area is the long narrow area adjacent to the kitchen island(to the left) so the light fixtures will be next to each other. Have not purchased a table yet but will probably choose a long narrow dining table. (8’ x 3’ range).

I hate that style of fixture posted by Maureen they are totally poor for lighting and IMO so are your kitchen ones . But you now have those so I would probablt choose something maybe closer to the cris cross one beverly posted. IMO lighting needs to light the island and the dining table not the ceilings and for sure in a 15' ceiling that DR light needs to light the table and IMO you do not buy the light until you choose the table it might turn out that alinear fixture is batter choice .

As a side note the fixture you attempted to hang was hung the wrong direction. I am assuming the table will run with the island, it may have looked better. but since the view is from the side looking back at the kitchen I would go round, or traditional chandelier shape

Thank you RL. That is the table placement I had in mind. I like the dark and gold since my master bathroom has that combo and all the door hardware and windows are dark bronze.

@Kay Dee hate to say this but where is the rest of your master bath lighting, I only see a recessed light over the tub, surely you do not want to apply makeup, shave, or get ready in that shadowy lighting?!! and those sconces aren't doing anything for actual real light, I am hoping there is more to that story.
