Trivial question -Facebook - "do you know .... "
Comments (4)Could also be phishing emails. I used to get some before I ever joined. If so I think you can send them to spoof@facebook.com to report them. I just joined face book a few months ago after resisting but I have every thing blocked as I only wanted to play my slot games from the one casino gaming company and so far so good. No one tries to contact me or anything. I have nothing against using it that way but I would just rather people email me if they want to send me photos or tell me something. Comments (1)I think some people, especially old school mates you haven't seen in along time will ask to be your friend just to check out what you have been doing, what you look it, etc. Just being curious I guess. I don't talk to all of my friends everyday but I do enjoy seeing what they are doing or where they are going and looking at pictures they have posted. I like reading what they post on the status bar. LOL Sometimes it can be funny or you know when someone is not feeling well. Some people join FB because they are curious to see what it is all about then quit so then their pictures are removed from your friend list. Anne...See MoreFacebook Privacy Question
Comments (10)No, looking at someone's page won't cause your name to pop up in their list of suggested friends. The suggested friends are "Friends of Friends". FB is getting more and more convoluted. I do not want my XH's live-in to be looking at my page. Since we have no friends in common, my name does not pop up for her nor does her's pop up for me. I do not have a picture of me on my profile for privacy reasons. If you want to know what your page looks like to a non-friend, click on the icon that looks like a lock at the top right of your page. A list will show up that says "Who can See My Stuff". Click on the little down arrow on the right, then click on "What do other people see on my timeline? View as". That will show you how your page looks to the public. Please set your privacy to Friends Only, and remember that your profile and cover pictures will always be public....See MoreFacebook profile question
