I have Dovedale. Sorry no pics. After one year it is holding up really well. My dad spilled a turmeric sauce all over the counters. I did not notice he missed a few drops here and there till three weeks later. It took quite of bit of elbow grease but I got it all out. First day after the counters were put in my uncle made sangria and let wine and lemon dry on the counters. Cleaned up right away. Have made marinara sauce from scratch a dozen or so times. As you can probably tell by now we are a messy clan but it cleaned up right away. When looking through pics I chose Torquay because it was the most realistic looking Carrera marble quartz. I really like the 12x12" sample. Then I went to the Cambria distribution center to see a full slab and hated it. Too busy and gray. I like the Dovedale because from five feet away it looks white but then up close looks like a white stone with perfectly placed caramel colored vintage hardwater stains/veins. Like the romantic pictures I have in my head of a public building in Rome. Not how most of those stones would look in real life. But maybe the most beautiful three foot section. Just reproduced over and over in my entire kitchen. Some people want sections of pure white while most quartz, including Dovedale, have speckles of grey. This hides dust. Pure white or pure black is going to show every bit of dust and debris. I would not want one of the pure colors. I don't have a domestic staff to clean morning, noon, and evening so it looks good.

Please note that your fabricator is trying to mislead you, when they say there only are 7% of resin in that product. That's not what most people would think, when they look at the materials that go in there. Instead, you'd see two buckets of stone dust, and one bucket of resin. By volume, about a third of the "stone" is actually resin. But since resin is so much less dense, fabricators like to quote the ratio by weight. And that's how you get to numbers such as 7%. They are not technically wrong; but I feel it is intentionally try to confuse. And no, nothing wrong with a product that is resin and stone. Just be aware of the pros and cons that this entails. The biggest con is probably that this material isn't guaranteed to be heat proof. You can't set hot pots directly on there, and you can't mount it as a backsplash behind a stove unless you can somehow ensure that that area doesn't get too hot. Depending on model of your stove, an appropriately sized backguard might be available.

The Engima Valley counter is absolutely beautiful, but I would NEVER install it again. I've only had it installed for a month and I already have two big chips in the island. I keep my house immaculate, including wiping down the counters every time I cook to ensure it isn't damaged by red sauce or acidity from lemons. I already have light stains forming on the island. I have marble in my bathrooms that's holding up better than the Enigma quartz. I reached out to Enigma for help filling in the chips. They redirected my email to the store I purchased the stone from who then redirected me to my fabricator for help filling them in. Really disappointed all around, especially since it was $5700 for one slab and fabrication/install.

Same thing happened to me. Now I am trying to decide between Monaco, Valentin and Prado. The background of Valentin and Prado are almost exactly the same color as my cabinets (creamy white) but Monaco is a little greyer. I don't know whether I should try to make it match or not. I am so overwhelmed.
