Cambria prices per sq foot? + Cambria vs Home Depot/Lowes quartz?
Comments (92)No engineered stone is approved for UV exposure. It’s not an industry secret at all. None can go outside. Period. If your professionals that you worked with had done their jobs, you’d be an educated consumer and know that it’s not an exclusion just for Cambria. Direct sun from standard new windows shouldn’t pass enough UV to damage your floors, furniture, or e-stone. Standard windows already come with UV blocking properties, so if yours are so old that they don’t have it, you’ve got other issues about UV exposure in your house. Old windows need UV blocking film installed to avoid degradation to all kinds of interior finishes. Not just your e-stone. If it’s a relatively new window, that’s a conversation that you need to have with your window manufacturer. It’s defective. This is Not on Cambria. Or Silestone. Or Pental. Or Zodiaq. Or any e-stone manufacturer. New windows shouldn’t have issues with transmitting enough UV to damage your home.. Poop happens. This isn’t on Cambria. Talk to your window manufacturer....See MoreAnyone Have the Waterford Design Cambria Countertops?
Comments (3)I share your interest, as I've been searching high and low for photos of a Cambria from the same collection (Windermere). Because these 'colors' were released this winter, there are not many installed photos out there. I hope someone can help you. I have seen 12X6 samples of the Cambrian Collection, and I think that they are all beautiful. Is Waterford the one that has an occasional blue sparkle amidst black/gray? If so, I remember it as being quite stunning. All cambria is the same price. A bonus! I've found it to be the same price as a mid-grade granite and less than all other quartzs. I love it and can't wait to have it installed in a few weeks (Windermere)....See Moredoes anyone have Cambria quartz Blackwood?

Comments (195)The Engima Valley counter is absolutely beautiful, but I would NEVER install it again. I've only had it installed for a month and I already have two big chips in the island. I keep my house immaculate, including wiping down the counters every time I cook to ensure it isn't damaged by red sauce or acidity from lemons. I already have light stains forming on the island. I have marble in my bathrooms that's holding up better than the Enigma quartz. I reached out to Enigma for help filling in the chips. They redirected my email to the store I purchased the stone from who then redirected me to my fabricator for help filling them in. Really disappointed all around, especially since it was $5700 for one slab and fabrication/install....See Moreswfr
