Turquoise and black were a hot combo back in the 50's. Yellow might work. I'd be more focused on the foundation, brick porch, skimpy stairs and handrail first. Local code may require railings around that porch. Can you extend that rooflet all across the gable and enlarge the porch? That would really help. Romabio has masonry paint to coordinate the brick and foundation, which I'd do in white. I would want much wider steps; those are hazardous. How about shutters for the two smaller windows?

Have a black wrought iron railing fabricated for the front porch.

Replace your address numbers with black to coordinate with the black railing.

I was thinking the yellow deco mentioned. The blue door on the Seaside Cottage is nice. Also nothing wrong with turquoise and crisp white.

I'd like to have the budget for all that. But right now, I can afford paint and a handyman to apply it. Can't focus on other things first, the door only has a primer coat, has to be painted. The steps somehow look narrower than they are. Those are standard precast steps. I'll price shutters. I like the yellow, and I like the royal blue too, LOL. Thanks.

I like how the golds and oranges look, especially with your nice brick colors. I‘m not a fan of the navy at all.

I'm surprised I liked the navy but I do! If it were me, I'd pick that or the first coral Jinx posted. But even that green looks good and I would have never thought of that. The other coral-reddish colors also look nice.

What does your interior decor look like? The darker/cooler colors-navy, greens, add a little...idk...sophistication, maturity, something to the look, and the brighter/warmer corals, yellows, go all in on the fun and cheery look.

That's a hard one! I keep going back and forth, but somehow I feel like the blues and greens are a little less expected.

Pool, I thought I’d love the navy, not sure why I don’t! I like it in Deco’s example. Maybe it’s just the mock-up — the lighting, door style, etc. Mock-ups can help somewhat, but of course aren’t exact.

You made a lot of good points. Different colors really influence the personality of the house in different ways.

My fav is the California Chamois, or something like it. It looks fantastic with the stoop and brings life to the house without being garish. I don’t love every color I posted, but just wanted to show a variety.

I think shutters (especially white) would look awful on this house because the windows are different sizes and too close together for them to look right.

Kathleen, if you decide on white for the door, you could bring in color with pots. Such a charming house. :)

I hope you don’t paint the bricks. They bring personality and character. White brick would stain easily, peel, etc.

If you will be adding a storm door I would keep it simple…white or black these are storm door colors you can buy without having to paint them to match the door…classic…I would paint the porch brick white…and railing white or black.
