A deep marine blue would be nice, or possibly a burgundy red. Would offset the gray/green of the siding. I might consider painting the garage door the same color as the front door, too.

I like the idea of any complimentary color for the front door, and painting the garage to match he rest of the house. I personally like the marine blue or burgundy red suggestion, but here are many good choices available.

If no one offers to photoshop some colors for you, go to a paint brand website where you can upload a pic of your house and paint the door yourself to see what you like. You could also paint the garage door the same color as your house to see what an improvement that would make. Then the front door will become the focal point instead of the garage.

I would get some poster board and paint it then tape it to the door. See what it is like during different times of the day and how you feel about it when you drive up..If you have kids - get them to do it - It would be a fun project

Nice home; good exterior color choice. Is that sage green siding? If so, you might consider a bolder shade of green for your door.

You could paint your garage door and trim the same color as the siding of your home and then your front door would be the center focus of attention whatever (different) color you chose -- even white. Would change the garage door and trim color first and then rethink the color you want for your front door.

At some point you might consider creating a wider and deeper "porch" -- perhaps adding another landing ( might be able to do that just below the window sill level of the right downstairs window) wide enough and deep enough to be usable as a deck and consider some options for covering that decking.

Outlining the concrete driveway and parking area in liriope or a similar plant that will naturally thrive in your planting zone would be worth considering, too.

It’s hard for me to tell what color your house is exactly, but we have a grey house and our front door is BM Pomegranate. I really like it. It’s a rich red color without being too burgundy or too bright. I tried to take photo but the afternoon light isn’t cooperating very well.
I also used to have a Hale Navy front door and that’s a great color too.

Do you have any favorite plants in your landscape that bloom? You could pick one of their colors. Green is my favorite neutral... You could do almost any color with the door.

I also 100% agree with painting the garage door to match the rest of the house. :-)

I just googled "green house front door colors" and got a ton of ideas. A lot of pictures of burgundy/red (the picture above is a great example) but there's a picture that has a purple door which I also think is pretty, especially if you have purple flowers in front.

I would add shutters and a pergola over the garage to add some interest to this plain jane. I would also stain the wood staircase white with gray treads.

Love the idea of Purple! And after seeing the mock ups, I'm not a fan of the garage being the same color.. Maybe a darker version of the house color or slightly lighter version so there is color definition between it and the white trim...It would be nice for it to have more detail like the pergolas or something more prominent.

Since you already have colorful siding, match your door to the roof. That will give you cohesion.

I would paint the garage doors the same color as the house, and leave the front door white, which helps it stand out. Add color by landscaping around the front of the home.

I like dark blue/grey/black to compliment the roofing color.

Like the pergola over the garage door idea. If built to be sturdy enough to walk on it, then it could serve as a fire escape route should the need ever arise -- certainly hope it never does.

You might also consider painting your step rails and side supports the same color as your siding unless you're planning to have a wood finish door and/or a rustic porch and post addition over the entry at a later date, in which case you'd want those additions to have the same wood finish. (Might apply to any pergola over the garage as well.)
