Houssaon I have actually! And potentially going with vertical instead of horizontal (something other than the vinyl siding). We just had some significant water damage inside from a rolled roof (if you’ve heard of that). We had no idea how terrible that roof material was. Anyway, we’ve since put about $60,000 of insurance and our own money into this house so we’re probably going to wait another year before we hop on any new exterior projects. We live in NW Florida so the yard keeps us very busy. But that is the goal to change the white vinyl siding along with a pretty rough looking driveway that’s an eye sore.

Awning windows don't vent as well as casements because they don't "catch the wind". Perhaps you could more than three casements. Or use tall gliders or double-hungs, though both would obstruct the view more than awnings. You might want to take a look at Marvin's website as the company offers many window types. The Professional Resources for each window type show the minimum and maximum dimensions.

I am thinking at one time those were big picture windows and should IMO go back to those somewhat like these in my LR. Mine do not open at all but there are patio doors on the other side of the room. Maybe a bit more info would help.

Thank you! The new interior doors are fir (not installed yet). Red oak flooring. Alder mission-style kitchen cabinets. Black leather stools. Existing interior trim ranges from white to a very light, low grade beige trim to oak (kitchen picture attached) to fir (living room picture attached) Thank you.
