What are the rooms around this like? IMO the tile choice was pretty specific so I need more info as to what else is going in there like the cabinets , even the color of the W/D all those things along with the floor will affect the wall color.

Unfortunately— the home is entirely agreeable gray. We’re doing overhead cabinets above our white W/D.

To note — our home has the original wood floors from 1956. It’s a very warm but updated home

Light gray for grout (test it, there are a couple of choices that may work) and how about some wallpaper for the walls? Laundry rooms can be fun, I find white or gray walls very boring in laundry rooms.

That’s an idea. Would you do the wallpaper as an accent wall?

It’s hard to tell how big it is, but with cabinets and washer and dryer and all put in, I’d say do the whole thing. Do a search in photos for laundry rooms with wallpaper, tons of ideas!
