what shoes do you wear with your jeans?
Comments (25)Yes, they are cool and I am totally cool when I wear them. I wish Boulet still made the same style. From day one they were comfortable, not stiff like most cowboy boots. I have had them for over 10 years - maybe 12 yrs? and just this year the leather is starting to tear over the right toe area. I don't think that is something that can be fixed. But you have to admit, considering I wear them year round, summertime too, that is a good long time for any shoe to last!...See MoreWhy Men Are Never Depressed.......

Comments (12)Maybe you should just go all the way and put in wainscoating up to a chair rail, lol. Good luck. Hope you don't uncover more problems! We were going to repair the footings on our sagging back porch this spring, and one thing led to another including realizing that the front porch, tho not sagging (yet!)also needed a couple of new footings. And as long as the little back hoe was there why not use it to dig under the back porch to put blue board along the foundation for insulation? (Dh had been digging by hand around the rest of the house) As long as the work crew was there why not restore the railings and balusters in front downstairs to match the upper porch, plus new skirts front and back (front restored and complicated to make). And wouldn't it be nice and look more cohesive (plus be awesome to sit in 3 seasons) if the down porch in the back was screened in like the upper? Then we had to have new back steps of a suitable scale. And new granite (installed by dh) at the base of the steps. And wide boards on the corners of the house would look so much better and appropriate to the age than the silly little aluminum strips. Now we are out of money and trying to do all the painting by ourselves before winter (and before we put the screens in the frames so they won't get dirty or painty). This is the first time in over 20 yrs living there that we have paid other people to do work, except a bit of work in both bathrooms when the ceiling fell in yrs ago, and a shoring up of the back porch until we could afford what we just did. I know it will be worth it in the end though. It is so satisfying as you all know. kathy...See MoreHow often do you wash your hair? How about never?
Comments (54)I also really love the Suave Daily Clarifying shampoo, it's dirt cheap and doesn't harm my very delicate fine hair. I just stumbled upon it too. I had bought it for my husband and he didn't use it so I had this huge bottle and used it and was surprised at how well it did for my fine hair and plus, it doesn't make my scalp itch, that has become an issue for me. I also found a conditioner that I love, it's Martix Biolage, the detangling one. Finally, a conditioner that doesn't make my scalp itch AND actually takes the tangles out of my insanely tangle prone hair. I used to shampoo daily because I styled my hair every day. Now, I just put it in a ponytail and call it done. I wash my hair about every third day now. I'd be very afraid to put baking soda in my fragile hair...I'm sure it would destroy it. I once (ONE TIME) used Dr. Bronner's liquid Castile to wash my hair and it damaged it so badly that it had to grow out before it was normal again. UGH! I'm lucky that I have hair, don't get me wrong, but my hair is very weird! My scalp is also very oily...so I cannot go very long without washing. Three days is pushing it and I can only pull it off because I wear it in a ponytail. I also can't stand the smell of stinky hair...UGH! It gets stinky after a couple days. That's when I know it's time to wash!...See More- 3 years ago
